You’re probably already scrolled past every optimized photographer for some search variation of “boudoir,” and now you’re here wondering: what have I found?
You’ve found the studio that doesn’t advertise or optimize for boudoir, but if you scrolled past all of others, or followed some subtle clues here. You probably aren’t looking for what those other photographers offer. Perhaps what you’re looking for is Essence.
First things first, there are no galleries here…. sorry. Your session images will never be used to gain the next client. Consent is a pillar of this project, and your images will never be displayed by the studio without express written consent. This is a study of the natural form in natural light. The subject is you, just as you are.
Sessions are not timed, and happen at your pace, not a clockwork of awkward poses. Anticipate a few hours to relax into it, and it may be awkward for a while.
No War Paint Required. Make-up free sessions are encouraged, not required. Essence is about your natural state of beauty, not a mask that’s worn to fend off the world. Your photos will look like you, exactly like you. No high-fashion or super model body shaping, face retouching, or hair edits ever. Your choice of: natural color, or classic black & white.
No wardrobe filled with lingerie, or costumes provided and intended to transform you into someone that you’re not, and don’t want to be. You already know what’s in your wardrobe, and which outfits make you feel 100% comfortable. Wear them.
For everyone’s safety, sessions will be photographed in a mutually agreed upon safe space, with chaperones welcomed.
The deliverables: 12 curated and edited photos, plus the full RAW gallery (including: misfires/outtakes/out-of-focus), hand-delivered, on the original memory card.
Lastly, this page wasn’t easy to find, and that was intentional, this isn’t meant to be a mass produced service that Humble Moments Studio offers, just know that it exists, and sit with it. Reach out if you’re ready, we won’t be selling it to you.
